  • Device – Any computer, mobile, or other hardware used to access the Services.
  • Device Identifier – The IP address or any unique identifier associated with the Device.
  • Promotion – Any contests or promotional activities offered by Nischaya Yatra [NY].
  • Personal Information – Information that can reasonably identify an individual, including name, email address, and mobile number.
  • TPSP – A third-party service provider.

Guides may also be required to upload real-time selfies for identity verification on the Nischaya Yatra Platform [NY].
  • Background Check Information: We conduct background checks and identity verification for Guides and Vendor Partners, which may include driver history, criminal records (where legally permitted), and right-to-work documentation. This information may be collected by TPSPs on our behalf.
  • Other Apps: If you register as a Guide or Vendor Partner, enabling certain features may require Nischaya Yatra [NY] to access applications on your Device to prevent and detect fraud.
  • Additional Information: Any data you submit while interacting with Nischaya Yatra [NY], including customer support inquiries, troubleshooting reports, in-app messages, ratings, reviews, comments, or referrals, may also be collected. If you refer a friend, we may store and use their name and contact details to promote our Services.

Prohibited Information

  • Is offensive, harmful, harassing, obscene, pornographic, invasive of privacy, hateful, racially or ethnically discriminatory, or unlawful in any manner.
  • Encourages money laundering, gambling, or online games causing user harm.
  • Promotes hostility between religious or caste-based groups or incites violence.
  • Misleads recipients regarding the origin of messages, spreads misinformation, or communicates false or misleading data.

Transaction Data

We gather details related to your rides, including pick-up and drop-off locations, travel distance, and payment transactions, in compliance with Applicable Laws.

Location Data

  • For Guides and Vendor Partners: Location information is collected when the Nischaya Yatra App [NY] is active on your mobile device, whether in the foreground or background. Guides location is only tracked when they toggle the "On-Duty&quo; icon within the app.
  • For Customers: If you grant permission, we collect your precise or approximate location during the time a ride is requested until it concludes, and while the app is active. This data enhances pick-up accuracy, strengthens safety, and helps detect fraud. Even without direct location permission, Guides trip-related location data is associated with your account to improve services such as receipts and support.

Usage Insights

We and our authorized partners (TPSPs and Vendor Partners) may use various technologies to automatically collect data on your interactions with the Nischaya Yatra Platform [NY]. This includes browser type, referral URLs, areas of the app visited, timestamps, search behavior, and general activity.

Health Declarations (Guides only)

We may request health-related details such as body temperature, symptoms, vaccination status, and other wellness indicators.

Device Information

Collected either directly or via third-party integrations, this includes your Device Identifier, language, regional settings, operating system version, app interaction (like gesture and scroll behaviors), and more. Sensitive data—such as passwords or unrelated app activity—is never collected, and sensitive fields are always masked.

Call Records (Guides & Vendor Partners)

We may record calls made from the devices used to provide Services, along with associated call metadata.

Interaction Metrics

We log usage patterns such as the frequency and duration of feature use, navigation through the app, and user engagement with different app components or linked websites.

Cookies

Cookies may be used to capture Usage Information. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser or device settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the performance of some app features. We cannot oversee how third parties use cookies, and such usage falls outside the scope of this Policy.

  • For Guides: Allowing service requests even when the app is closed, tracking movement for pickups, and ensuring customer safety by sharing exact locations when "On-Duty" mode is active.

Profile & Transaction Information Sharing

For Guides, providing customers with details such as name, vehicle number, driving license number, phone number, profile picture, and tracking information.

Marketing & User Engagement

Offering newsletters, promotions, participation in contests, contacting users regarding changes to services, and leveraging data analytics insights.

Customization & Personalization

Adapting the app experience and service offerings based on user preferences and consumption patterns.

Legal & Compliance

Enforcing terms and conditions, resolving disputes, and complying with applicable regulations, law enforcement requests, or contractual obligations.

Corporate & Administrative Purposes

Disclosing data to affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives as needed for service facilitation.

Notifications & Alerts

Delivering administrative notices, updates, alerts, and relevant communications via SMS, WhatsApp, and other media.

Third-Party Collaboration
